Welcome to Clover Bell Farm...... Twenty acres of rolling pasture and forest in the tiny hamlet of Vanleer, Tennessee. This area was home to Native Americans (arrowheads abound!) then settled by the Bell family prior to the Revolutionary War. Mr. Montgomery Bell operated nearby Cumberland Furnace and mined the plentiful iron ore from the soil using the water of Furnace Creek - the head springs which pour from the two caves on our farm. Cumberland Furnace was known for the canon balls it produced for the Confederate Army during the Civil War.
Today, life in Bell Hollow is a bit quieter. Tobacco farming is the main activity of our neighbors. The mulitude of old tobacco barns in Bell Hollow begin to billow fragrant smoke in early autumn. Come visit and see! We are forty five miles west of Nashville. Bring the kids!
